Young Guns

Since it's formation in 1982, there have been a number of notable firsts.

The first trophy to be competed for was never retained by the organisation and therefore either in the hands of one of the crew members or someone else. (If it's you we would like to hear from you !)

The first major trophy that was purpose built for the organisation was done by a local lad (who's name escapes the memory of the organisers, so if it's you, contact us please) and was named the Mather trophy. We still have possession of this award and stands proudly within our honours cabinet.

Sadly there were no detailed records kept of the team members from the original 6 teams who competed in 1982. Although the team names have been recorded. (Should you have further information then please contact us).
